Dr. Ashley Anderson-Murray currently serves as Assistant Principal at Forest Acres Elementary School. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor for University of South Carolina Upstate. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Claflin University, her Master of Arts degree in Learning Disabilities from Furman University, and her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Her dissertation explored the influence of emotional intelligence on teacher attrition. She has also earned the distinguished honor of being named a National Board Certified Teacher as a Middle Childhood Generalist. Dr. Anderson-Murray has served over a decade in public education as an elementary educator and school administrator. She exemplifies excellence in the community through sustainable service as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

For the 2019 conference, Dr. Anderson-Murray will conduct a session on relationship building in the classroom.
